Canvas observer accounts
What is Canvas?
Canvas is SCSD2's learning management system (LMS). Teachers post assignments, grades, announcements, and course content in Canvas. As a parent or guardian, you can create a free Observer account to follow along with your child's coursework.
Go to Canvas →Setting up an Observer account
1. Ask your child's teacher or school office for a Canvas pairing code 2. Go to scsd2.instructure.com and click "Parent of a Canvas User? Click Here" 3. Enter your email, create a password, and enter the pairing code 4. You can now view your child's courses, assignments, and grades
