TEXTBOOK RENTAL & SCHOOL SUPPLIES

To Parents, Guardians and Students:

NO TEXTBOOK RENTAL
In prior years, textbook rental ($145 to $185 per student) was paid by parents and guardians who didn't qualify for assistance. Textbook rental covered much of the cost of curricular materials, including devices, software, books, etc. This has changed and there will no longer be any textbook rental paid by parents and guardians. Again, NO TEXTBOOK RENTAL will be charged to parents, saving parents and guardians up to $185 per student!
Any unpaid, outstanding balance remaining from a prior school year or any future fees for lost/damaged property must still be paid. Fees for extra-curricular activities, clubs, special events, etc are not affected or related to textbook rental.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES PROVIDED BY SCHOOL
Students' school supplies will be provided by SCSD2 as a convenience and savings to parents and guardians. 
There are still a few things you can put on your Back-to-School Shopping List that are not provided by SCSD2: 1) Clear water bottle;  2) Backpack;  3) Earbuds/headphones
Otherwise, there is no expectation of parents to provide school supplies. We have you covered.
