Why register now? Can I wait until fall?
PreK options, while expanding, are still limited.  Attend enrollment to put your child in the best position to start on his/her SCSD2 Path to a Brighter Future! Once capacity is reached, additional applicants will be placed on a wait list.

What to bring:

  • Your child!
  • Birth certificate (OMW applicants should bring for all children under 18 in the household)
  • Driver's license for each parent/guardian in household
  • Proof of address (bill that matches address on driver's license)
  • Lowest paystub from the last 60 days (OMW * application)

*More about On My Way Pre-K
Unlike K-12 grade levels, preschool programming is not funded by state and local governments. This means that we use other funding sources. One source is family-funded tuition. Another source is On My Way Pre-K, a federal program providing tuition support for families earning up to 185% of the poverty rate OR having only one working parent OR having a parent on SSDI. SCSD2 would like ALL pre-school families to first apply to On My Way Pre-K. Tuition will then only be charged to families that fail to qualify for the federal program. Families that choose not to apply for On My Way Pre-K will be placed on a waitlist and will be enrolled in PreK in August if space is available.
